What the day will look like
You can expect to spend time on a blend of strategy, innovation, communication, collaboration and change leadership, including:
- Collaboration with Product & Technology
- Act as the lead interface between business and technology for Aon Broker Copilot.
- Develop trust and credibility with Technology Product Owners to help drive the strategic roadmap.
- Translate business vision and needs into clear, actionable product requirements and enhancements enabled by technology.
- Help prioritise the features and capabilities that unlock meaningful commercial outcomes and differentiation for Aon.
- Promote the application of AI and Trading Data analytics in decision‑making – from client advice and carrier negotiations to placement and portfolio strategies
- Create new commercial and growth opportunities through differentiated propositions, services and client experiences.
- Ensure client and carrier conversations are anchored in Aon’s broader transformation narrative, showing clearly how Aon Broker Copilot enhances outcomes.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of domain experience and perspective on changes and transformation in the broader financial services and technology industry
- Strong background in the broking and/or underwriting industry, with credibility and understanding of how risk is placed and traded today and how it may operate in the future
- Comfort communicating and engaging all levels of an organisation
- Ability to understand and anticipate market dynamics, client needs and competitive positioning to inform Aon’s strategic agenda.
- Capacity to translate a high‑level vision into prioritised roadmaps, clear business requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to shape the style and construct of communication to different audiences (from brokers to executive leadership).
- Confidence leading conversations, presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
- Character for respected business engagement and relationship management, building trust quickly across markets, product teams and leadership groups.
- Act as an effective translator between business needs and technical solutions.
- Passion for change and the future of broking, with a track record of leading or enabling transformation initiatives.
