The Role
Developing and managing Dive In corporate sponsorship programme to attract and secure sponsors, driving revenue through innovative sponsorship strategies, fostering strong relationships with partners and enhance brand visibility. Deliver impactful communications to promote Dive In activities.
Principal Accountabilities
- Create and implement strategic plans to attract and acquire new sponsors, ensuring alignment with Dive In festival goal.
- To secure 35-45 sponsors globally across the Lloyd’s Market for 2025.
- Drive revenue through effective sponsorship strategies and initiatives, meeting or exceeding financial targets.
- Develop sponsorship proposals and presentations to highlight the benefits of partnership and present them to the potential sponsors.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements with clarity on terms, deliverables, and objectives, ensuring mutual benefit.
- Serve as the primary contact for sponsors, providing exceptional support and nurturing long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate sponsorship activations, ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations and optimal sponsor visibility. Including working with Media agency to enhance sponsorship branding. Monitor and report on sponsorship performance, utilizing key metrics to drive insights and improvements.
- Oversee the sponsorship budget, tracking all related expenses and revenues and report on budget and sponsorship spend to the Senior Dive In Programme Manager.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities to uncover new sponsorship opportunities.
- Apply best practices in relation to sponsorship agreements and activations. Work close with event organisers to enhance sponsorship opportunities and ensure sponsors involvement at events.
- Continually assess and refine sponsorship programs, gathering sponsor feedback and implementing necessary enhancements.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- Ability to manage suppliers and partners to agreed contract KPIs and deliverables
- Ability to quickly develop a network of contacts inside the Corporation and with Dive In stakeholders
- Ability to effectively use all Microsoft Office Applications and project management software
- Stakeholder management skills including the ability to develop and maintain trust and positive relationships quickly with differing levels of seniority and across different cultures.
- Ability to respond to changing priorities, assimilate new information and deliver to agreed deadlines
- Ability to work with a global team in a client orientated environment as well as use of discretion and sensitivity in dealing with multiple stakeholders and cultures
- Effective organisational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of raising funds, sponsorship, project management, event management and corporate partnerships
- Contract management
- Knowledge of producing social media content
- Experience of managing high profile partnerships from inception through delivery.
- Managing the income and expenditure, supporting budget setting and reforecasting as necessary.
- Commitment to driving organisational commercial values and continuous improvement based on programme feedback and evaluation
