The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional claims service to customers by managing a portfolio complex US Property Binder claims effectively. This includes assessing policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, as well as collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders while offering technical support.

The Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional claims service to customers by managing a portfolio complex US Property Binder claims effectively. This includes assessing policy coverage, investigating, evaluating, and negotiating claims, as well as collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders while offering technical support.
Your new role
- Investigate, handle and resolve a portfolio of US Property Binder claims in a professional manner, ensuring excellent claims handling service
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to include clients, brokers, cover holders, service providers and underwriters.
- Identify and investigate coverage issues so as to ensure that the company’s liability is in line with its contractual commitments and to communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Manage disputed claims and other material claims issues in collaboration with stakeholders to resolve as quickly and economically as possible.
- Support underwriting strategy by developing relationships across all other business areas.
- Assist in the management of information flow, tracking reserve developments and ensuring that stakeholders are updated.
- Manage Lloyds ECF and CLASS activity within service levels.
About you
- Experience of working in a property claims environment, within the Lloyds/London market.
- Previous use of Lloyds ECF.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Relationship management skills.
