What you’ll do:
As an Account Handler, you will provide prompt, accurate, and effective account management support directly to clients and the business unit.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Understand clients’ business and risk management needs, supporting them through ongoing service and delivery.
• Manage renewals by gathering information promptly, enabling timely terms and placement of firm orders.
• Prepare and close market documentation accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with Premium Payment Warranty provisions and contract certainty deadlines.
• Support presentations for both new and existing clients.
• Liaise with technical teams and compliance to facilitate insurance placements and ensure all procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate files and input data promptly using corporate systems.
• Perform quality control checks on all documentation.
• Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio, including cross-selling across Miller.
• Adhere to Miller’s policies, procedures, and external regulations.
• Promote the Miller brand and values to enhance market reputation.
Skills, Knowledge, experience:
• University Degree or relevant supporting qualifications.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Adaptable team player, and skilled at influencing and negotiating
• Results and service driven mind-set, supported by good organisation and clear thinking
• Shows initiative, drive, commitment and enthusiasm to succeed
