We’re Standard Life, a retirement specialist focused entirely on retirement savings and income. We champion the belief that everyone’s journey to and through retirement can be better, and for more than 200 years, we’ve been helping our customers plan and prepare for their financial futures.
Life today is increasingly complicated, uncertain and unpredictable. People move through different careers, face unexpected moments and navigate important choices. We offer our colleagues flexibility, trust and benefits that work for whatever life brings. In return we expect curiosity, connection, accountability and high standards. We make room for what matters - so you can bring your best, every day.
The role
As a Creative Services Account Manager, you’ll lead the day‑to‑day management of creative briefs from internal clients across the business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring work is clearly scoped, prioritised thoughtfully, and delivered to a high standard - balancing stakeholder expectations, creative quality, timelines, and risk.
Working closely with marketing stakeholders, creative teams, and external agency partners, you’ll play a key role in shaping high‑quality briefs, improving ways of working, and supporting the continued transformation of Creative Services.
This role is ideal for someone with strong account and project management experience, who enjoys managing multiple workstreams, bringing clarity and structure to complex requirements, and enabling teams to deliver their best work in a considered and sustainable way.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who brings strong fundamentals in creative delivery and stakeholder management. To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience managing creative or marketing projects end‑to‑end
- This could be gained in an in‑house creative team, agency environment, or a similar delivery‑focused role.
- Strong internal client or stakeholder management experience
- You’re comfortable acting as a trusted point of contact, setting expectations, and guiding stakeholders through structured processes.
- A clear understanding of the creative process
- From brief development through to production and delivery, with the ability to translate business objectives into practical creative briefs.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple concurrent briefs or projects, balancing competing deadlines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations in a high‑volume environment.
- Confidence working within brand, governance, or quality frameworks
- Demonstrable experience operating within strict brand, governance, or quality frameworks, with an understanding of risk, compliance, and approval processes. Experience in regulated industries (e.g. financial services) is highly desirable.
We want to hire the whole version of you.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.
If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.
We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
