You'll make an impact by
- Provide in-depth financial and strategic analysis of potential M&A targets.
- Perform financial analysis, including developing financial models and applying valuation tools, to evaluate M&A opportunities.
- Manage the coordination and integration of data and presentations for leadership and executive discussions.
- Prepare materials and lead meetings and presentations with the intent of educating and influencing stakeholders across the organization.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts on ongoing opportunities.
- Monitor and interpret current events and trends relevant to domestic and international P&C Specialty insurance markets, making informed recommendations.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the transaction process from initiation to completion.
- Anticipate implications across departments, segments, and systems to ensure alignment and effective resolution.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to drive conclusions and support decisions across a broad range of stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
- Education and experience including an MBA or comparable related work experience.
- You will have extensive experience in insurance or a related field with demonstrated success, preferably in Specialty Insurance.
- Professional and effective communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to present using various formats such as video.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills whilst working collaboratively and effectively across a diverse group.
- Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office suite and other systems utilized by the department, with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
- Travel will be required within your role.
- You will have leadership experience whilst developing and fostering a high-performing culture and inclusive team environment.
- M&A experience is preferred
