Join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team within AXA Insurance Commercial and be a vital part of our data-driven decision-making journey. We're seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to develop a new Power BI reporting suite tailored to the needs of AXA Commercial Insurance, providing valuable insights to support strategic business decisions. You’ll play a key role in enhancing existing Anaplan models and creating new ones to improve forecasting, planning, and analysis capabilities. Key responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports to support AXA Commercial Insurance across all distribution segments.
- Build and optimise Anaplan models to facilitate financial planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario modelling specific to commercial insurance.
- Collaborate with FP&A Analysts, Finance Business Partners, process improvement teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and security across AXA’s reporting and planning platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI and Anaplan models.
- Document technical specifications, workflows, and processes to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of the latest features, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to AXA’s Commercial Insurance operations.
- Coach other members of the FP&A Team in Power BI and Anaplan development
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
Your skills & experience:
- Proven experience in developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, ideally within insurance or financial services using large datasets.
- Strong knowledge of the Anaplan platform, including model building, data integration, and planning processes specific to insurance is desirable or equivilant.
- Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and other data query languages for data extraction and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively interpret and present data insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
- Familiarity with the insurance sector is preferred, enhancing understanding of industry-specific requirements.
